Faction Travel Each faction has a species of tamed mutant used for travel. The exception is Nutori. The Fishface of PuraelicThe Fishface are the only way to travel by sea, great creatures covered in thick penguin-like feathers and skin, their bodys built like a large slug, the back end is a large flipper fin and the front has two sets of padded feet underneath with huge black claws and webbing between. Their faces are shaped like a perfect oval, a slight bump into the rolls that wrap its head. Gills located on the side, its eyes looking two different directions often, slits for noses. Thin lips pull back in a constant sneer to reveal several rows of jagged needles for teeth and a tounge that is thin and sectioned and ends in a point. The rolls on its back are so large they can be pulled over the riders legs as a blanket. The Dreadmane of ShaedralThese ghastly six legged horses are almost zombie like, with large chunks of flesh missing to reveal sections of skeleton. No fresh blood. A single bone curves up from their spine, as well as tusk like ones from the side of their skinless mouth and it is through these the reigns are looped. Their mane is knatted and eyes a blood red, so unnerving the Shaedral have taken to covering them with fabric, since the horses do not need to see. The front pair of legs end in large curved claws, and the back pair have a spike of bone jutting out of the heel. The middle pair are ordinary hooves. The Frostkin of KasablancGreat dragon like creatures covered in thick shaggy fur the colors of snow, soft white with hues of pale blues. A long wolfs tail works as balance, the wings have long talons at the bend for climbing. The wings allow for small bursts of gliding. The creatures breath frost and can attack with this. The back legs are muscular and clawed. The Lizmar of KereptkinLarge creeping lizards with strong claws and a retractable stinger on the end of its tail. Spikes trail along its spine but the ones on its back are shaved down to make room for the saddle, the largest spike sitting as a saddlehorn just in front of it. Two large saber tusks curl on either side of its mouth. The Lizmar can shoot globs of acid from their mouth, and the stinger is filled with deadly poison and often covered with a bag with a string attatched. When attacked the rider pulls the string (the other end is hooked to the side of the saddle) and the bag falls off, leaving the string still attatched and the mount free to defend itself. This is generally done only in dire situations with the tamest of mounts.

Beasts of the Air
MUTTHAWKS Mutants of the air about the size of a large dog, these birds bodies are covered in coarse fur in colors ranging from sandy beige to earthy browns, sometimes with speckles of different hues of brown about their face. Their heads are wolf-like, with golden eagle eyes and feathers around the cheeks, scalp and throat. The legs and tail are bird-like but again covered in fur and with long black talons. The tounge is also avian, and they tend to puff up and hiss when threatened. Their favorite method of assault is dive bombing from the air talons first, taking their victim into the air and dropping them over and over till they die. Mainly seen in the Southern Lands.

Beasts of the Lairs
NIMKAs Nimkas are like a giant daddy long legs with a tarantulas body. The legs are covered in volcanic rock, a great defense, and also this covers much of their body. Cracks in the rock allow the spider-like creature to be covered in thick spider-fuzz. The Nikma is black with brownish-red coloring for the volcanic rock on its legs. The ends of its front legs are tipped in stingers, and it can spit poison from a fair distance. Venom constantly drips from its fangs. The Nikma makes chattering and screeching sounds, as well as noisy clicks, and is about as tall as two adult males. Female Nikmas follow the tradition of a black widow and bite the heads off their mates... as well as any male Humi or Muti who get too close.
DEPMIR Take a large crocodile. Make it very flat like its been run over by a truck. Add armadillo plating on its back and twin scorpian tails. Make it a deep purple color. Thats a Depmir. Oh, did we forget to mention the twelve foot long tounge that can pick you up? Southern and Central Lands. Sometimes seen above ground in marsh areas and ruins.
THAKLEW A really big worm, about 11 feet tall or so at least. Its body is pink supposidly, but its generally covered in moss and mushrooms and such things, and coated in a layer of slime. Its only features include a mouth and an antenna ending in a glowing bulb. The mouth is unnoticable until it opens, perfectly rounded and filled with rows of jagged teeth that descend into its throat. Not aggressive on purpose, it eats whatever gets in its way while tunnel-digging. Southern and Central Lands.
SKRABs Small beetle like creatures about a foot tall and three feet long, they have a small barbed stinger on the end and a rounded bump for their head with a triangular body shape. On their underside are rows of little pointed feet and two mouths, one upsidedown above the other and filled with tiny sharp teeth. No eyes. The beetles hard shell opens into four paper thin wings that flutter at the speed of a humming bird and fill the air with buzzing. They cannot hover and make lots of hissing and clicking noises at a very high pitch and speed. They usually come in large packs of at least five and at most fourty. Generally Southern and Central Lands. Also seen above ground.
RIPLERs A writhering mass of tentacles and smelling like sewage, with an octopi's beak peeking out from the center of its 'face'. Riplers crawl across the ground with some of the tentacles on its underbelly, leaving a trail of smelly slime behind. Its eyes are dead-grey and glow slightly. Riplers have a surprisingly long jumping range and love to launch themselves at people. They aren't vicious really, just excitable. In their excitement they never seem to realize their beaks tend to be razor sharp and, when excited they leak a toxic substance from their underbelly. They like to be near water and can be foun almost anywhere in the After Zone. They are dark gray-brown-green mix, faded colors.
